| FIT Biotech acquires Xenerate assets |

COMPANY NEWS:
FIT (Tampere, Finland) acquired the assets of Xenerate (Uppsala, Sweden), including technology that combines gene therapy with cardiovascular implants and prosthetic vascular grafts, for an undisclosed sum. FIT will use Xenerate's technology with its GTU gene delivery technology to develop gene therapy-based devices for cardiovascular diseases.
